A Message from Our Co-Founders
2020 was certainly a strange year for everyone, but on a positive note, it also introduced many new anglers to fly fishing. Conservation has always been central to who we are, and while donating a minimum of 3% of our sales has long been a priority, we wanted to do more.
That’s why we decided to calculate our entire carbon footprint, including heating our headquarters and warehouse, purchased electricity, the embodied carbon of our products, and shipping to our customers. We are proud to not only be a Zero Waste operation, but to officially be Carbon Neutral.
We know there is no such thing as a perfectly “sustainable” company, but we believe the world needs many imperfect companies actively working to solve problems like climate change, biodiversity loss, and deforestation. We will continue incorporating recycled materials, organic cotton, and ethically sourced products while reducing our carbon footprint and supporting our conservation partners.

Who We Are
MISSION: RepYourWater is an apparel brand dedicated to providing uniquely designed, top quality gear for anglers and hunters while increasing support of local conservation and inspiring exploration.
RepYourWater was co-founded by Corinne and Garrison Doctor in Colorado in 2011. Over the last decade, we’ve grown from a single hat design donating to Trout Unlimited into a leading brand in fly fishing that donates at least 3% of sales to 17 nonprofit conservation partners, operates as Zero Waste, and is officially Carbon Neutral.
Our business depends on healthy natural resources. We believe protecting fisheries and wild places is both our responsibility and our privilege.
Our Impact
We are proud to have surpassed all of our 2020 Sustainability Goals, including going Carbon Neutral, maintaining Zero Waste operations, donating over $250,000 to conservation partners since 2011, and volunteering more than 200 hours.

We measure success not by how much we make, but by how much we give back. In 2020, we donated 3% of our annual sales and volunteered with our conservation partners.

Carbon Footprint

We offset 100% of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by purchasing Renewable Energy Credits from a zero-emission wind farm and purchased carbon offsets to achieve carbon neutrality.

Conservation at Work: Citron Creek, WI
In 2020, RepYourWater supported the Driftless Area Restoration Effort (DARE) through a $3,500 donation used to fund streambank stabilization and habitat restoration along Citron Creek in Wisconsin.
The project stabilized nearly 3,000 feet of eroding streambank, improved trout habitat, reduced sediment and phosphorus runoff, and created over one mile of public fishing access while benefiting both game and non-game species.
