Sustainability

As humans, everything we do has an environmental & social impact. Everything from growing the food we eat, constructing our homes and businesses, and making the clothes we wear all have an environmental & social cost. We also know that our business has an environmental & social impact, which is why we are striving to measure and improve our sustainability performance because we care deeply about conserving and restoring the places we fish, doing our part to be part of the climate solution and ensuring that the people who make our products are treated fairly and equitably.

Below are our sustainability goals and our current progress towards meeting them.

When we can select a sustainable material without sacrificing performance and quality we seize the opportunity. Our goal was to reach 25% of our wearable products* to include sustainable materials by the end of 2025. We are still working towards that goal but we are proud to share that 22.22% of the wearable products in our Spring 2026 line include sustainable materials. This includes recycled materials and naturally biodegradable, traceable materials like merino wool.

* Wearable products include hats, tops, socks, etc

In 2020 we started the process of reducing our impact by changing to more sustainable and less packaging. Since 2024 we achieved that goal and now 100% of our product packaging is either made from recycled materials, can be recycled, or both. Some products, however, do have negligible packaging and are not included in this calculation.
